Patient was a thumb sucker. We utilized a thumb crib as Phase 1 treatment followed by a palatal expander for approximately 6 months. Followed by Phase 2 treatment of traditional braces for about 24 months of treatment.

Phase 1 anterior cross bite correction with removable sagittal transverse appliance.

Phase 1 removable sagittal transverse appliance for 9 months of treatment, followed by Phase 2; two years later, treatment included palatal expander and braces upper and lower treatment for 18 months.

Phase 1 removable sagittal transverse appliance, followed by Phase 2; two years later, treatment included palatal expander and braces for 18 months of treatment.
